I started tattooing in 2011 after working as a medic at OSU Medical Center in the acute coronary, interventional cardiology, and trauma departments. I loved the fast-paced environment of healthcare – but at the end of the day – it isn’t what I want to bring home with me at the end of the day. I appreciate the freedom that tattooing has given me and I am very thankful and grateful that I was given an opportunity to walk away from the healthcare industry and follow my dreams. I started tattooing at Short North Tattoo in 2012 shortly after finishing my apprenticeship. I have worked in a few shops around the city of Columbus and have had the opportunity to work as a guest artist in many different cities and studios across the country. In the summer of 2015, I had the opportunity to become the owner and operator of Short North Tattoo. When I am not tattooing you can find me at the racetrack, traveling with my girlfriend, climbing mountains, or hanging out in the backyard around a fire with my friends.
